I think that the numbers are for each symbol, counting from the left
i.e. 1 2 3 4.. 1 is probably blank, considering what I remember of
the codes (not completely sure)

The codes for this game included upper case and lower case letters.
the DF-3401 has no 'shift' key, so I was forced to use another code..
" L? " means "lower case" ?
The lower case letters always have spaces on either side.. This is how
you can tell that it is not an 'L' character.
