Standing on the edge of the Abyss, Graal paused for an instant and
thought back over the curious series of events that made his presence
here necessary.
The torchlight struck the edge of the blade as he lifted it to strike.
Suddenly, a ringing noise echoed again in his ear, and he fell
forwards in paroxysms of pain.
As a veil of darkness descended over his battered consciousness, he
wondered what the High Master of Renalt would do to a captured assasin.
"This one is the most promising that I have seen yet," said Carlton,
"He actually got through all of the pitfalls that we planted in the mansion and almost killed me. We should send it to Central Processing for advanced training."
The other general slowly turned towards him, and, frowning, snarled "If you insist..! I question the wisdom of your decision."
