QuickBeam's NES GAME Continue Codes

Over my years as a videogame player I have ended up collecting many videogame continue codes - However, since completion of some of the games I found that I wasn't (probably) going to use them again, and I thought "Perhaps these continue codes would be of use to someone else out there." Therefore - The creation of this page. Below you will find my meagre collection of the same.

As these codes were coaxed out of a MINI POCKET Personal Organizer they do not differentiate between case. Also the digit six (6) and the letter g (G) look exactly the same. There are other confusions - If a code doesn't work - try common digit misrepresentations (1 <=> 'i', 8 <=> 'b', and so forth). Some of the codes from the organizer had pound signs in them - I have recollections that they represented the question mark ('?') - These have been substituted.

Oh yes - It was the case that I can't tell oh (the letter) from Zero (0), the digit. I also remember that I made some mistakes when I was writing various codes into the device, so good luck, anyway.

GENIE---9GRQ8NK8LBZ8G4D6
FAIRES--G4TD9HXL9GYHJL54
LVL.4---NHVH5MVN8BWHJM54
LVL.5---VMQJKLXDGBQJBHR7

At this point in the game I got stuck trying to get into the dragon's
castle. Any help would be appreciated. My email forwarding-address is
steel@cryogen.com.

Castlevania

065480 HI-SC

This seems to be my highest score at the game to date - or so I guess,
as I haven't played this game for days.

Castlevania 2

FHKE G5KR
6NUI TXJO (end of page)
FDKE G5CR
7NUI TZZO RB (end of page)
OJNS MXS1
XH4C VBII (end of page)

These codes are probably literal, I think. However - be warned - I did
not correctly play the first part of the game, so completion is probably
either difficult or impossible. All I have by the last code is Dracula's
RIB, I think.

The method of coding, if I remember rightly, was to number each
of the symbols on the continue table from right to left, and replace
each of the spaces in the table with the corresponding number.

FAXANADU

NO ENTRIES

I always wanted to use my MINI POCKET Personal Organizer to keep track
of FAXANADU codes, but it looks like I never got around to it. Too Bad.

Gargoyle's Quest 2

00400051-6021003
40400061-6022003
40404061-7142007
40404061-7162117

By the end, I think that I was stuck trying to get through the valley of
Death. Any advice would be appreciated.

Legacy of the Wizard

GLZL CZIB 1GDK YWHN
A3UU CQLV XQUD RVCA - FIRST GAME
GLZL CZPB 1DDR YWAN
A3UO CQE2 XQUD XCJA

I am having serious trouble getting anywhere in this game. These codes
just start you at the beginning with a bit of gold and stuff.

Super Mario Brothers 1

AATOZA.IATOZA
AATOZE.VATOLE
STATEO-STEALTH GOOMBAS

YAZULG.YAZUIG
YAZUYG

OZTLLX.AATLGZ
SZLIVO SET

YSAOPE.YEAOZA
PZLGIT.YEAPYA

These seem to be Game Genie codes - What they do I can not say, as I boxed
up most of my videogame stuff and my Game-Genie ended up at the bottom of
the box.

MegaMan 3

A-DE-CD-EC-DE
AD-E-DE-CD-DE
AD-BE-DE-CD-E
ACD-B-DE-C-CE
ADD-B-DE-B-CE

These codes are the rows (columns?) that red beads are in for each column (row?).
If I recall rightly, the labeling is clear in the game, so it should be no problem
decoding them. By the last code, MegaMan has succeeded in defeating all of the
various robots who were menacing him, and is about to set off on his way to Dr.Wily's
Castle.

Metroid

03 Lk G W0 00 W 000

H K R H0 C
00008-
-----
007 T X7
001000
04 H K76
Lm K00 Lv G

I think that the codes are used with spaces appearing after (and before) letters,
and a prefix of L being a character which is lower-case (and blue).

MUDS

ADARKPORTAL.COM:4000
SHELL.REACH.NET:4000
134.130.159.58:6715

I guess this must be a list of MUD addresses. I wonder what they were doing in my
MINI POCKET Personal Organizer.

Prince of Persia

95441747
LEVEL W (perhaps 2?)
28732535
LEVEL 2-58M
52024737
LEVEL 3
65274121
LEVEL 4 49M
73350546
LEVEL 5 40M

These codes are for the first five levels of Prince of Persia - although I see no way
that anyone could complete the game from level 5 with only forty minutes left on the
clock.

The Adventures of RAD GRAVITY

PWZJP KHZ OS ( is it a zero or the letter? I do not know.)
D$S8T RK63W ( is it Ssss or five? I do not know either.)

I am now completely stuck getting to my computer before it is turned into a robot. I
caught up to it on the conveyor belts before it was transformed, but what am I supposed
to do to pick him up?

Rolling Thunder by TENGEN!

STORY 1-3
6426099
STORY 1-5
1450064

This is one of my favorite games - it's like a really twisted DOOM clone for the NES.
(although it is a sidescrolling game). It is also really hard, as if you get hit once
by anything, you die. It took me six months of ownership (at least 45 games) to get
to Story 1-5.

The Magic of Scherezade

W12Z 1XHZ 2ETM ZQ5Z
JMWB NZ2F L6L4 6LJ3
2D3L 2
-------------------
W1BA A446 BLE0 CDRD
Q12I N2MZ B4BT BJCU
JIBR VBZB
-------------------

These codes should work as I have copied them. I was nearing finishing Chapter One
with the Second code, if I remember rightly.

Shockwave -- "MADMERLE"

5-LQY
6-HUF
7-LIG
8-PZP
9-DZQ
10-DRR
11-TVG
12-XKX
13-LOU
14-XKJ
15-LOG

These codes, will allow a player who enters the name "MadMerle" at the prompt, to start
the game at any of the levels listed. So far, I have not been able to complete Level 15.

The Shuttle Project -- "MerleZ"

9837 - Atlantis

If you enter your name as "MerleZ", then you can start on the Second mission by using the
first code. I haven't had time to play through any of the other missions yet.

Solar JetMan

KBBKBBDBBDBB - Level 1
KQBBBHBBKMGB - Level 2
KGBMGGLBRVHB - Level 3
KGMBGGLBRVHB - Crash!

The first three codes correspothe first three levels, I think, and the last code starts
you off on a really bizzare level which crashes the cartrige after a little while. You
can fly through walls, Turn on your shields and carry things, and do many other
impossible things. Just be sure to turn off the cartrige and let it rest before you
try to play the normal game after using this code, or really bad things will happen
to you.

The last codes have Level Six Characters. The 0/oh problem is rampant here - I do
not know which is correct. I believe that the game only of the options though, so
feel free to experiment.

The Immortal

ry9ys10006y90

Perhaps only one code looks poor, but it took me three hours to
get it, so I am rather proud of it. This certificate starts you off at LEVEL 2 with
all of the items that I could find in Level One. However, I am pretty sure that I
missed some gold somewhere, because I couldn't afford to purchase the Slime potion
from that guy to the nw of the starting point.

Game Boy World Cup Soccer

03313 - Germany vs. France

Only one code here.

XEXYZ

Secret Passw0d0

Here are all of the codes I got from XEXYZ. What a great game! The last two were given
to me as a "Suprise Present!" for defeating Goruza. They are very interesting to use,
allowing you to play the entire game's arcade sequences without being forced to wander
around looking for those Power Stars.

That's all for now! I hope that some of you find these codes useful! QuickBeam's Email address.

Feel free to send me your codes so I can add them to this page. Thanks.
